REALLY Bright Lights!!!!!

This past weekend in NJ (Atco Show) i seen some really bright lights on a Yellow P5. Do they have a Hid kit for this car or how did that guy do it. It was really bright during the day.

There is a kit that comes standard on Proteges that makes your lights brighter, it's called high beams.

FYI PR 5 have separate high/low beams, my dear ES owner. Therefore turning on high beams won't make lights brighter-it will turn second bulb on.

As for answer-he probably had some 80 watt bulbs in there or HID kit. Nothin' special-about $400 for HID and you're set to go.

Yup when the Pro5 has it's high beams on it is really bright. I turned mine on and looked from afar and it almost burned my eyeballs out.

Also consider that the car was probably on a platform, and most of the time, you are looking at headlights from above them, not below.

My old S-10 had the brightest lights I've ever driven behind. Euro Hella 200mm rectangular, with 55/100 H4 bulbs. On a straight road, someone flashed me (to turn off high-beams) from over two miles away. I sure miss the ability to swap headlights (and not just bulbs). The optics of most headlights suck.

I have the problem with people bitching and hitting their lights at me. I guess they are like way bright. Nothing I can do about it. Nor do I want to. Its not an HID but just as bright. Now if only I could get some yellow fogs.
