Clean or not, it'll be illegal. Your backup lights are required to be white, if I'm not mistaken.

And even if it's not illegal, you'll really cut down on your visibilty when backing up, as well as creating a dangerous situation, because other people will not know when you are in reverse.

I think just keep it as it is, the stock looks pretty good
