But even if you work at a place that sells that stuff you still have to pay something for it. Even if it's not that much it adds up quite a bit.

Video would be be 5 times more expensive then this sysrtem alone especialy trying a full surround system. I will not be competeing at all I will go to shows but as a spectator only and showing off my car only if the installer wants me to to help him out to generate a better known reputation.

Also I have no like for video systems. I thought about doing just a indash screen but I dont thinnk I will now. I get car sick as hell rying to watch a screen that size in a moving car as do most of the people I commonly have as a passanger.

Interesting looking design there buddy!
I have been reading in the manuals of my P9 hardware, and this will work, but some functionality might get lost. The time alignment and the equalizer may not be too happy with multipule sets of full range hardware.
I am using the P9 in my mazdaspeed project. I have the whole system built in a rack in the shop right now, and the features are most impressive. Go with the fiber connection if you can to the processor, and no more worries about rca induced sound!!
I need to post on the mazdaspeed project thread, I have the RX-7 in for the the spring tune up, so I plan to garage the mazdaspeed within the next two weeks and start taking the interior out.
Let me know how this progresses!!!

2 things I didn't do a good job on explaining were that:

1. The rear speakers will actualy be component 5.25s and I will use there tweeters as ambiants to attempt a better stage hieght. The mids will stay in the back and be for fill only, very little volume.

2. the ambiants will be tried at very low volume and not used if found to be a bitch to work with. In that case they will return with there matching mids to the rear.

Dave, you don't happen to have the manual in PDF format do you. The link on Pioneers sight doesn't work.

Be careful about the screen in the front. In some states (Florida), it is illegal to have "a television that the driver can see." Be sure to check the laws, though I doubt you'd drive something like that around all the time.

Indash screens are only illegal if they are displaying a video signal while the car is in motion to my knowledge. I believe that is the same for all states except Tn that will fine you if someone can see porno on your monitors from the street.

But your right it will be heavy which is why I have the turbo.
the w7 manual says it wants a .75 inch walls and a 1in front baffle.

The 1.5" front is from doubling up the 3/4" they reccomend doin and the .75" and 1" are the least thick you can go. I would do all 1". Possibly a 1.5" baffle.

ofcourse, even 1.5 all the way around, but just saying what the manual says when doing plexyglass boxes, do i need to use the same thickness or is there another formula for it?

I am not really sure on Plexi, I think you can actualy go thinner as it is a denser material. Hell, isn't 1" Plexi bullet proof for most medium caliber hand guns?
