well as long as i can get warrenty work done on it if it goes bad then fine. cuz at the moment i have a sony deck. and when i was involeved in a front collison about a year ago and now when i turn or accelarate at a wuick pave the deck shuts off and sometime wont power back on. jsut wonderin if ne1 will know wehter this is the cars audio that is screwin up or did te deck get a shock when the car was hit and that caused it to go back ., plz let me knwo if any1 knows so that this can be fixed and if so i will buya new deck if it is bad. thanks for every1s help.

hmmm, maybe bad rca's? i dunno. if it was a front collision, could be that. or maybe something internal.

Sounds to me like a short somewhere along the line, try pulling it out and playing with the wires with it plugged in carefully of course. It could be something as simple as the wire harness not being plugged in all the way. Seeing as how it turns off completely, I'm guessing it's power related. If that's true, have the dealer take a look at the power going up to it. Does anything else do this? AC etc.? More cases than not, electronics can take a bit of a shock so although it's possible the HU itself is damaged, there's a pretty good chance it's not a problem with the HU at all. Best of luck .
