It made perfect sense man, if it doesn't work then all you have to do is paint the whole thing, I think Ill try your technique .

Bumble_G, I'd love to see how those look, but the picture isnt there... seems like the URL don't exist anymore (opened the yahoofs.com URL in a browser...)

BTW Dave, those are some sweet pedals! I'd definitely buy them if you could make a set for the manual tranny!

Well I finally got some time to work on the Bezels and we are now 2/3's the way done. Got the small rings done and they look even better in person than they do in this picture but you will get the idea.

Hope to get the large ring done tomorrow.

WOW DUDE! Those rings look awesome!

Very nice work!

How were they made? What is your approximate cost and labor time to create them?

Excellent - really nice.

They were made out of 6061-T6 Aluminum. I ran them on my Hitachi-Seki CNC lathe. They are polished Aluminum rings. I will be making them to sell ($30.00 per set of 3 rings). If interested PM me or just respond to this thread. Thanks for the compliments. They look even better in the car with the lights on. Will post pics soon.

Well, Sir Nuke. I have just finished the first 10 sets and I have 8 sets left.

The answer Mickey is Yes. Until the 8 sets are gone. Then I will run more, if and only if, the demand is high enough. Roughly 5 to 10 more sets before I run more. So its first come first serve.

I'm going to start a new thread in the Parts for Sale / Wanted section before a Mod. puts this one there. I will be leaving this thread for all the painters out there.

It's a type of automotive paint - SEM is just the brand name. Excellent stuff - it is MUCH different than the DupliColor or similar stuff from the local auto parts store - far less gloss, excellent color, easy to work with, and great durability.
