P5 altezza tail lights

Who has them and do you have any problems with condensation?

Specifically for the P5.

I have a pair of the CF-look tails. I have not had any sealing issues with them. They made it through a Detroit winter, and several trips through the DIY carwash with the high-powered pressure wand. My only complaint is larger gaps between the body panels and the lamps, compared with stock. But, overall I would recommend them. They look great. For $86 on e-Bay (brand new), it's a good deal. My Dodge Neon's Altezzas cost twice that!

I only want to do a few things to my MP5: Wheels(black w/ silver lip), clear tails, yellow fogs, tinted windows. That's all I want to do, but the wife won't let me. But now that I have a side job I'd say that I can do what I want with that money.

My major concern with the tails is whether or not they will leak. I don't think they gaurantee that do they?

I found a website that has them for $140, that's the cheapest that I've seen.

Rio Grande,
Do a search on e-Bay. Just type in "Protege Altezzas" and see what comes up. Usually, the "buy it now" price is less than ninety bucks, with $15 or so for shipping. But, you might do even better than that. Why pay $140, when you can get the SAME EXACT THING for a lot less?

From what I have seen, all the P5 Altezzas on the market appear to have the same design (appearance). The only differences that I have seen are the color of the lamp surround - CF, black, or chrome. I am willing to bet that they ALL came from the same source in Taiwan, and importers just slap a different name on them when they make it to the US.

No hits on ebay. Matrixracing.com has what I want, the black ones. Everywhere I go it's $200 or more.

The list of things that I want would only cost me about $1500. That's about $3k less than what I've done to the Jeep!

If you can't tell I'm still trying to justify modding the P5

Please check out the four above hits. Man, these things are all over e-Bay. Just type in "Protege 5" and see what comes up. Leave the space in between the "Protege" and the "5".
