Exclamation Neons - Update: PICTURES

Found out WallyWorld (wal-mart) has cheap neon lights. $9.97 for a 10" light that retails for $29. So i went ahead and bought 2 of em in blue. they are mounted under the drivers and passengers dashes. Looks tight as **** at night. I was skeptical with gettin them. Because neons are more rice than nice if they are installed shitty. But HEY, they look nice. IMO

Also my friend got 2 of em for his truck. one red , one blue. They are mounted on the sides of his front windows...

Update:
Here are the pictures. Didnt have the flash on the digi cam on, so they came out a bit blurry. and res was at 3.1 not 4.1 MP.

i put two blue 10" tubes under the dash about a year ago almost, at night it looks good as hell. lights up pretty good, and actually gives a little bit of blue light to the rest of the car. looks kinda cool when driving. ;D i love rice.

How are the lights powered? Are they powered through the cigarette lighter?

Awesome! I have the same deal. It's important to put the tubes underneath to give it the glow effect. I originally had it where you can see the tubes and it shined in your face making it impossible to drive. I switched it, it looks just like yours, the only difference is I paid $60+ dollars for them. Excellent Job!

What type of camera did you use? Awesome Camera.
I have neon in the trunk with my audio setup that I
cant get good shot with.

I did the same thing , went to the local walmart and bought 2 15' neon lights, they were $15.00 for each.... I put one under my car in the front and one inside under the passenger side.... i clipped the ciggarette lighter adapters from it and ran a switch inside my car and then the switch to the battery..... its looks really good ...... hehe

To pr5owner, I'm from Winnipeg and my Wal-mart has those neons, they're in the automotive section with all those cool skull and crossbone shifters (can you feel the sarcasm!!)

If anyone has found red neons (to match the interior colours), let me know, I'd much prefer those.
