ok so heres the deal, there is some low end model 10inch lightning audio subs on sale at Worst Buy for 15 bucks each, is it worth my money to buy a set of **** with subs, just to screw around with til i get a decent set?

dude, don't sell your p5 short. just wait a bit and get really decent to good stuff. if it's just subs you want, you can get 2 compvr's on ebay for about $120 or so. but don't put crap into your ride "for now".

 

thats exactly what i thought, sure they are cheap, which is cool.... but they really are crap. plus keepin that 20bucks in my pocket is good!

 

haha the pos was blown anyway, and they had none instock.... my friend was gonna buy like 6 for his car, just to blow money.

but on a side note they have two brand new 12 inch cerwin subs, really nice.... ive been thinkin about picking them up, 40 bucks each, brand new in the box, never opened

 

well i wouldnt necessarily have to buy a box, my best friend does box building and car audio installation here locally, so i could get him to help me build a great box..... but thatll be later down the road.
