Jammed Cd

Yesterday, I inserted a disc into the CD-PLAYER of my brother's car (2001 MAZDA PROTEGE) and nothing happened. So I tried to get it out, but it didn't come out ??? Even the "DISC IN"'s light is not lighted up !?

Any idea how I could get it out ?

Thanks

i think you have to take it to the dealer, and they can do the manual eject.

the CD that you put in, what it a store bought cd or a CD-R-RW?

i know that my dealer said that CD-R/RW cd's may get stuck in there. something like the CD-R/RW's are slightly thicker than normal store bought CD's.

It's a CD-R-RW ! It worked in my 2002 Protege ES so I assumed it would work !

So I guess I'll take it to the dealer !

Thanks

1. press eject them smack the side of the dash by the radio fairly hard and see if it pops out. This works for POS Aiwas and sonys that won't eject.

2. disconnect the negative battery terminal for 30 seconds then hook it bakc up, this should cuase and automatic eject.
