what you should do is use the search and find the thread on stock head unit removal tools.....make those yourself and remove your head unit yourself.....then buy a wiring harness for your new head unit that is for our car....about $15-$20 depending on where you get it...and hook that up to your new head unit.....THEN....when you remove your stock unit.....you unplug it.....you take your new headunit and with its install kit you put it in the hole and plug it in....its about that simple......just remember you are taking out a BIG double din unit and putting in a single din....there is going to be a big hole under it unless you got a pocket to go in there.....

if you bought it from crutchfield , then they will give you a wire harness.. ok with the harness all you do is pull out your factory radio, crutch will give you directions on how to do this , then you plug in the harness and you have to connect the radio harness to the crutch harness , then you plug the radio in and you slide in the radio and you are set, chances are crutch may send you a spacer to put under the radio ,,,.. and then you will be even more set ... shoot but if you did not buy it from crutchfield , then I don't know what to tell you ,, cause they make life easy .....

typical radio install is $40-$50 dollars and the dash kit and wire harness are $14.95 apeice.
Usualy you'r looking at $75.

I don't want to sound like a dick or anything, and I honestly wish all the luchk to you but I have seen more Awais DOA then anything else. I avoid them at all costs. But like I said I hope everything goes great.

shoulda had a friend do it.

I just spent 10 hours on a custom install on my friends 90' Toyota Corolla. The reason it took 10 hours was we had to make custom mounts for all of his interior speakers, and had to pull half the dash apat to get to the fronts. but it was a free install. i dun remember the stereo, but he got all Diamond Audio interiors, 1100, and 800 watt amps (forgot brand) and a pair of MTX 12''. I'm never woking on a toyota again!!! It's a nightmare.
