sorry about the delay, I am gonna take the pics today. Stupid digital camera, mine sucks! Anyways I borrowed a friends today and I am gonna get them. I can email them to whoever wants them. That or I can post them.
A little word of caution: if you do put neons on a 1st gen, then be careful. They hang about 1/2 in lower than the outside unibody rails. If you take your car to a shop where they lift by the frame and not the wheels, you risk cracking and crushing them. I went back to the shop and the manager was like too bad, I was sooo pissed. Only had them on a month or so. Mine were Lite Glow, and now they no glo. I am probably gonna buy replacement set, b/c only 2 of 4 broke. Then my car will have 6 bulbs, fun fun. I plan also to upgrade to the 93 MX-3 V6 alternator since it puts out 90 instead of the whimpy 65. 25 amps aint much, but it helps when you got: red ground neons red interior lights (can strobe to base) red nozzle lights CD player 4 x 6.5" Kenwood 4 ways 2 x Rockfordfosgate subs w/ rockford fosgate 1000w amp 3 x 100 watt off road fog lamps Cobra CB (for the long drives) 12 Volt AC wall outlet (for laptop) Absolute 700 series Alarm Remote Starter. Cobra Police scanner Radar detector Future Upgrades; Paint Job - Black pearle Mica or somthing dark radar scrambler (makes laser gun on cops show scrambled numbers) GT-R bumpber with PIA100 fog lamps for 5 totaling over 500 watts lighted switches for everything above the console B6 engine right now, want to swap, that comes probably next! Power actuator for power door locks and windows strobe kit set to make red lights change to green 2nd battery and add 2 capacators to help keep up power supply Probably need the Alternator soon as I think all the crap is probably killing my battery. I saw a site listed in the forum somewhere that told how to mount it, just gotta search again and find it. I go thru fuses like a mofo. If anyone knows how, I want to put an alternator from an Escalade, or some big SUV that put out near 130w. The only problem is the bigger belt and making it all fit. Fun. fun! Later~ |
