Ouch, man - sorry to hear that.

What makes you think he's trying to screw you? No email, etc.?

If you do all the right things and are patient and nothing happens within a few days, you can call the attorney general of Oklahoma, and see what can be done. After all, you have the guy's address (where you sent the MO), and if the MO was cashed, he's committing fraud. It's possible he's even comitting mail fraud (especially if you used a Postal Money Order!) and they do take that pretty seriously.

Another thing - and it might come back to bite you , but not leagally, so who cares: If you get nowhere, and get no refund or product, go bid on a few auctions this guy has going (not all of them, cuz he'll cancel your bids - but one or two might go unnoticed) - bid whatever it takes to win, because you aren't going to pay anyway. The when the auction is over, not only did you screw the guy out of a sale, but you get to leave feedback (and do it IMMEDIATELY after the end of the auction), in which you can say "THIS GUY SCREWED ME OUT OF $1000" etc., etc., - and hopefully, either he'll get the message and make good on it, or you'll at least ruin his eBay presence and hopefully he won't get the chance to do it to someone else. The only consequence might be a reprimand or even suspension from eBay.

It's not $1000, but maybe that could give you some satisfaction if all else fails.

And anyone on this board in Oklahoma - HELP A BRUTHA OUT!! See what you can or will do to help this guy, huh?

~HH

hey hihoslva thanks for you advice i really appreciate the support.

the reason why i am getting pretty suspicious is
first.
we had been exchanging emails pretty frequently and it stopped all of a sudden when he got the money order.
second,
its been about a week and a half without any contact.
third,
i did some research on the guy (heh) and found out he isn't mobile audio dealer, he works/owns a moving company.

Any Tulsa oklahoma people want to give me a hand i would really appreciate it.
