Question Head Unit Mounting Depth

Anyone know the mounting depth and other size specs for the Pr5 factory head unit? I'm looking for a new deck, but am concerned about going too deep (wish i had the same problem with the ladies). Looking for something that plays mp3s. Crutchfield lists about 8 different models from 3 or so brand names (EZ-fit only). Not a huge selection. I'm somewhat handy, but don't want to take any hacksaws or blow tourches to the car. Specs or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

A standard DIN sized radio with a depth of about 6" should fit fine. There is a factory bracket inside the dash that can be removed to give you an extra inch or 2. But you'll have to cut it out.
