I was on that site and was wondering what is a tripath chip? It is in their Class T amps.

I saw that myself and thought..."Oh great, now how do I explain to the wife that I need new amps?"

hmmm, i was under the impression that blaupunkt had the license for the tripath chip...
basically, that IS the class-t amp.
i think different companies/designs utilize different components to make their amps run cooler and more efficient, hence the class d, class x, class t, and i think there was another that never really caught on...

why did you have to show us these amps, now i will have to get this amp instead of the RE 35.1. for the same price i get 200more watts. only thing is it doesn't say at what voltage it is.

i'm a bad aa member...
if i had the money right now (on reserve for a set of jonah lomu components and arospeed wheels) i would scoop up two avionixx amps in a heartbeat.
sorry for the temptation there walight, but if i can't get anything, then i'm gonna try my best to get someone else to buy stuff.

what r the specs on the re35.1? (output, voltage, c/o etc)

i'm gona run just one for now. i can get it for 390 shipping from RE direct. they are on back order though thats ok, i'm still coming saving my money so i can buy my entire system at once this way i won't buy part of it and put the rest of hold, its either all or none, and my factory cd player doesn't really work anymore.

i'm hoping to hit 150 with it. i figure 150 db in the stock I class(iasca) should do pretty well.
