Re: Re: "civic eater" sticker
Originally posted by jimbo Okay, I gotta say something. I own a Civic. I'm about to buy a MP5. I can respect when someone dislikes one brand vs. another. But seriously pasta323, think about it. With the mods you've got. You should be able to toast a helluva lot more than just 90% of the Civics out there. Why don't you spread the wealth and start smoking other cars? sniff-sniff... can't we just all get along? :D |
"helluva" = "a hell of alot"

Originally posted by igdrasil 6psi boost = 50+ hp, 65+ lb/ft torque, civics owned! 8psi = maybe a wrx rival, owned??? http://www.flyinmiata.com/protege/default.asp hmm I should save up for a turbo kit hmmm would boost me to @ 6 psi 172+ hp 185+ lbs/ft hmm that would be sweet, and if i can get it to pass emissions tests at 6 psi that would be really sweet...and if 8psi, damn hmm thats diefinately gonna be my first mod lol:D and once i get it all i gotta say to all the civics in my area "JUST BRING IT" then I'd put a civic killer sticker on my car edit: but damn those won't be # for @the wheels, they will be at the crank i geuss...but oh well...geuss I'll just get a new transmission and hit up 16psi hehe |
@wheels
Actually those numbers are measured on the wheel!!!!!
STOCK #'s on the Wheel (base model with 130bhp/135lb): 96.4 WHP 108.3 Torque on the wheels TURBO @ 6psi of boost 149.1 WHP 173.1 Torque on the Wheels So...more or less, the bhp of the car with the turbo is 173 hp and 200 lb of torque!!!! like you said Add an Exhaust = 10 WHP gain Add the mp3 ECU = 6 WHP gain Change piping (using the ES model pipe) = 5 WHP gain??? |
no i meant my current number aren't at the wheel....so I dunno.....my current numbers are at the crank...but then adding the 50 and 65 for tourque would be safe no matter what.....especially at 16 psi lol
