"civic eater" sticker
hey guys....i came up with a good idea and i know there has to be some people out there with this but i just thought of this the other day...since i hate civics that act tough and huge AND since i love going downtown weekly to find some and smashing them in races :cool: :p :cool: :p, i'm thinking of putting a sticker about 4 inches long or so that says "civic eater" on the back of my car....what do you guys think, and is it worth putting a sticker on my car for those damn shitboxes?!?? lololz :p

if I were you ..... I wouldn't....and here is why. because every civic driver that sees it will be gunning for you, you say "FINE, that is what I want"....well....that is all fine and good when you are IN YOUR CAR....but what about when its parked at he mall, or at he movies, or in a shopping center of any kind.....THEN its there defenceless.....and YOU are opening your baby up to be defaced and then YOU will be pissed off and out money getting your car fixed.

nuke's got a very good point, but if u want the attention go head, jus keep in mind the risks nuke mentioned.
|
Agreed, I don't think it's a good idea either. Too much unwanted attention at the wrong time I suppose. At least I know that most of the civic drives in my town are idiots and wouldn't think twice about trying something on your car.
Not saying all civic drivers are idiots, just the ones in my city that I know. Besides, it's much cooler if they think they're gonna kill you, and then you smoke them. |
yeah negative attention isn't good, whenever i dress up my car i like to keep it "Neutral" so im not offending anyone. plus some civics will be able to destroy you, remember civics have the largest aftermarket of any other car, they have like 50 turbo kits and countless s/c kits. with 6 grand you can make a civic HB run 12.5's in the Qmile!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and thats including the cost of the CAR!!!!!!

oh yeah, one more thing... How much are you boosting? Any good FI kits out there for the 2002 MP5? More specifically any good CARB legal Forced Induction kits out there for the 2002 MP5?

correction!! the Rice and the Rediculous! |
It's not the Civic that you hate, it's the people driving them. Granted, I've owned 4 Civics in the past, and still currently own 2, but I never thought it was faster than shit. It's just a few bad apples making it difficult for everyone else. Putting a sticker like that on your car makes you no different then those guys. However, this is your car, and you can do whatever you want. I'd rather go incognito and let the few who think their Civic's are the shit learn their lesson.

FI Carb Legal
6psi boost = 50+ hp, 65+ lb/ft torque, civics owned!
8psi = maybe a wrx rival, owned??? http://www.flyinmiata.com/protege/default.asp |
first to JDMStuff, you put it better than anyone could. Me I know I'm slow in my Civic. BUT, I like the damn thing. It's still fun to drive and it's never failed me. Well... Until I blew the headgasket (but that's another story).
second to idrasil, any idea if it will be CARB legal? the MP5 will be for the wife. So, it's gotta be something that I can kinda hide. You know something along the lines of "Gee, honey... Those sparkplugs made a BIG difference" kinda thing. Even if I opened the hood should wouldn't notice. But, if I can't get it to pass smog then I got a problem. ssshhh... |

P5 Turbo for the wife....?? thats nice, in my case i would preset it to 1psi.;)
My turn for the ride..??? will be set it to 6-8psi :D Hope this helps.... System Notes: We’ve managed to integrate the first cat with a smooth flowing downpipe. While not the optimum for race power, definitely the best choice for passing emissions tests and staying out of legal trouble. The net result is, the system will pass any emissions test in America, provided the original stock car would do so. A turbo will not fix a bad car, but it will clearly help reduce emissions of a proper car. The reason is as simple as the installation of a thermal reactor in series with a catalytic convertor. This won’t save the world, but at least its working in the right direction. |
Too risky for me to put a sticker on like that. I love my car too much. :beer:
