Center Console removal?

Could someone tell me how to take out the center console (Shifter area)? I am in the process of a interior paint overhaul, so far I have painted the gauge area the same as the car body

On my P5 every thing just snaps right out. Just tug up[ and towards rear of the car. Easy.

If you talking about the area around the stereo ya need like a plastic card like credit card but maybe something you are willing to get broke. Just slide in and around the cracks a lot to get your finger tips in. Pain in the ***. The carbon fiber does not come off separatly its all one piece.
