Anyone using Langka?

For use on paint chips??

I haven't used it myself, but a bunch of guys on the forums at autopia have gotten good results with it. Apparently the trick is to not take off so much that you have to go back and repaint it again. Kinda pricey, though.

You have to register to view the autopia forums, but it's the best detailing site I know of. Do a few searches in there and you'll find the threads.

Langka is this stuff that you use to level off touchup paint when you fill in chips and scratches. See, the problem is that most people end up putting too much, so the filled in part is higher than the surrounding paint. Smoothing it out is a pain.

Body shops will sand it down and then polish out the sanding marks. Langka is supposed to level it without need for sanding. Beats me how it works, but apparently is does in most cases. The autopia guys say it can take some practice to get it down right.
