My driver's side floormat is self-destructing on me. The metal eyelet at the bottom of the mat is ripping right off, and taking part of the mat with it. I never thought that would start happening @14k miles. Anyone? Anyone?

 

Mine are carpet, and they have 30K miles on them... they look just as good as new.

They even came with velcro on the bottom when I bought them, so they don´t move around. Once I place them where I want them, they NEVER move.

 

not me! like TheMAN, I also got thin rubber floormats for the summer and thicker ones for the winter. I wash my car inside and out every 2 weeks in the summer and I use Turtle Wax carpet cleaner on the Protege mats everytime... the "Protege" letters turn out looking nice and white like they've just been bleached!

 

THese are the stock mats that are an option when you buy the car. I guess they would be covered under warranty.
