Protege King and Nato0123 has the top one.

Those bottom ones look pretty sweet.

damn the second pair looks pretty illegal to me...

I think there is a requirement that you need your reverse lights to be white...

Altezzas are illegal anyway

and the Jetta and a few other cars come with all red taillights.

technically, they'd still show up white. it's just everything inside is tinted red... notice the holes are showings for where the bulbs plug in. you'd still see plenty of white. now, what i want.. is a damned red bulb for the rear turn signal. and i cant find one anywhere.

damn everyone seems to like that second kind but nobody's got em...id definitely like to get those...

i do have some issues with both of em tho...with the first kind, i dont like the white on the bottom, i think the stock ones have that placed better
and with the second, ive got a silver pro and i was wondering if having the tailights without that white (or silver whatever) part on the tail lights would actually look better. what u guys think?

oh yeah one more thing...i remember seeing some pics from like the 2002 SEMA and i remember seeing this protege with these tailight masks that covered some of the bottom and made them look smaller...i thought it looked great and i wish mazda had done that from the beginning...but anyways, does anyone know if i can buy those masks anywhere or how i could make a good pair of em?? if i find a pic of that car ill post it.

Not that I'm into IS300 style lights or anything, but can you tell me how these are "illegal"?

I had the same problem, but I just bought some clear GE ones for like $3 at ANY auto store, and bought a jar of transparent red model paint for another $1 at a hobby store. Slap a few coats on, and voila!

I was so tired of having an all red car and yellow tickers, and I got pulled over for the white ones I had, so after looking long and hard for red ones, short of LED's that's the best I could do!

Yes, hyper white bulbs are illegal for signals. Whether in the front or rear.
