from what I have seen for making them it would just be a matter of finduing out the sizes for those applications and mkaing them accordingly.
I am still waiting to see if this would be cost efficient for me.

Definitely interested......I looked for some clear rods at BOTH Home Depot and Lowes, and neither one had smooth ROUND ones, only like multi-sided ones.....at least make some for me, I would pay for them, and a little profit, plus shipping.

a friend of mine is a member of a tuner club here in Tally, and his whole crew are making some for their cars, he said that the best way to bend the rods is not in the oven, but with a heat gun, and to open the housing, just stick them in the oven at 175-200 for only a few minutes, then the glue melts, and when finished, rubberband them back together, and remelt the glue in the oven....

any linkage to those HELLA ones? The only way they could make it so you dont have to take apart your headlight is if they sell the headlight with the eyes installed already and I am doubting they sell headlights for the pro's for 45....
Anyway from what I have heard and seen you dont HAVE to have the round rods, I ahve seen applications done with the flat sided ones and it looks just as good.
I am going to make a pair for my fog lights and see how easy it is, if I like it then Ill make more for my high beamns and any for people that ant them. I wasnt planning o using the oven either as I have an electric heat gun.

just do a basic yahoo search for "Optilux Angel Eyes." They are a little smaller than the stock foggers, 4" as oposed to 6". The guy from the car-domain link i think has these.....they are $56, or on EBAY, you can BUY NOW for 49.95. And yes, they are two entire lights.....wiring and mounting materials included. The guy I know is gonna try to make me some as well, but if you get the high beams done before he can...LET ME KNOW!!!! I will not pay too much for them, because I will have to open up my housings and install them myself. Just give me a price...

ok i am going to home depot today to buy the rods(the 6sided kind, they look just as good as round rods if done right) and then to radio shack to buy the LED's, wiring and resistors. Should cost me less than 10bux.
I am making them for my foglights first(since they are the easiest to take off and apart) and see how they look. If I like em I will make another set for my high beams although I wont be installing them untill after Sept 1st.
If you guys still want some after I make em and see how it goes then I will just need the diameter and color LED you want and will be able to make em pretty easily.
The reason for Sept 1 is I am moving back down to AZ where my parents live to finish my last semester of college, my dads garage has a million and one tools including an electric heat gun which is what I want to use for the rods and headlight housing.
As for the HELLA lights they are the fog lights with angel eyes installed. for 46 or somethin. When I can buy the supplies for 10bux and do it myself and keep my 6" fogs instead of going to 4" ones. That is what I was tryin to say, sorry for the confusion.
