so the mx3 seats do fit!!! Thats what I was going to do but I didn't know if they would fit. Thats all I was wanting to know. Thanks.. Also I have heard of the katzkins. From what I've heard they are good, but they are just real exspensive!!

Do you know of any good places to get MX3 seats from??? Also how much did you pay for yours. Also did you run your car yet???

i've been too busy working on my interior to go out on the track and get a time =(. unfortunately i have a busy schedule (work, baby, fiance, etc) so i have little time to play with my car. my goal is to get everything done and installed by june for the next show. then i'll work on getting slicks and a time.

i paid 250$ for a pair of leather mx-3 seats. i got them at my local mazda recycle place.

Yeah good idea

I don't know why the Protege seat suck.
So, if the Precidia seats fit i will get some of those too.
Did you notice that for some reason the protege seats
seem to lean back, it's ridiculous and not very comfortable
for long hauls. Are the MX-3 seats gonna be better for that??

long hauls??? hmmm.... the mx-3 seats are stiffer than the protege ones, so i dunno. i'd say no. but i guess you'd have the try it yourself. =)

Legs falling asleep

I find that the seats are angled wierd. They seem like the part where the back meets the bottom should be higher, or maybe the part where your knees are should be lower.
Maybe because in my older car it was adjustable (and my legs are pretty short too). It's hard to explain. I could draw you a picture but i suck at drawing....

Seat Probs

On my 98 LX I have three ways to ajust the seats. I always have mine tilted foward (raises the back end) and the back of the seat adjusted to straight fowards. You can't do this if you are over 6'5" though. I added some seat covers to the seats and when they are in this setting I keep getting comments on my racing seats when really they are stock. I am interested in the MX-3 seats, they looked pretty cool.

I dunno, guys. I am 6'7", and I feel very comfortable in my seats, and even though I sit so far away from the wheel and my head is literaly behind the B-pillar, I still reach fine. The only thing the stock seats lack is side support, because in tight turns I tend to slide from side to side.

Yeah I find that turns can be quite painful. I love the stock suspension on the car but its not a question of what the car can do sometimes, it is what I and whoever/whatever else is in the car can handle.
