Just wondering if it was possible to buy the body kit used on the mp3 and install it on a 2001-02 protege. Would it be available to buy from mazda? or did mazda get an aftermarket company to design it?

 

I dont remmeber exactly how much I paid for the kit, but i know it was over 1000, and then i kicked myself in the @$$ when i looked on the wingswest website and seen that the mp3 bodykit is now in production and should be ready to ship in winter of this year, and most wingswest kits are only 600-700 bux, my thought to anyone else would be to wait, patience is a virtue, use it and done be stupid

 

i was wondering if any of you could tell me where i could fine a nice looking bodykit for my 2001 ES. i haven't really seen any bodykits for the 3rd gen protege before. anyone know where i can find one? i've read the FAQ and im wondering if u'd recommend any of those or if there are any other ones u guys know about...

 

You're only real bet is to get the MP3/MP5 body kits from your dealer. They sell them for you to add to your ES. Other than that, there is some German company that does some nice body kits (whether they fit the 2001 perfectly, noone is really sure because the German version may be slightly different) So far, there arent many companies doing bodykits for us new Protege owners yet. We'll just have to wait.

That is friggin SWEET! I love those fender flares and the Lips on the side of the kit! Very Nice!

 

Normally it's just a front bumper, side skirts and maybe a rear bumper. This Wings West kit has crazy fender flares. Is this a 10 piece kit? I wish someone had a pic of the back. What show is this car at? Looks like it's got a brake upgrade too. I'd like to see the engine and inside too.

Sorry, those came from Overboost.com, and they are from the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. This show was over, I think today, so we should see more products during the next month.

Those brakes are from www.stoptech.com and they do sell them for our cars (MP3-Pro5) for $1795.00, talk or email Robert Lee for more information. The Wings West website doesnot show anything for the MP3, it will take them awhile to update.

Did anybody noticed the cowl cover over the wipers?
