I think they should re-name it: "You know you're from the DC area if..." That was very funny... but so very-very true. Everybod comb the forums and try to snag active locals so we can get this meet together.

Thats bad when i don't even live there and i can relate to them. I come up there about once a month to chill with my bro and his friends. Anyways, I guess we finally got some interest sparked. Lets shoot for middle/ end of march. is that too far down the road, too soon. I'm trying to have a good turn out and work around peoples schedules to a point.

Sounds good, Most likely it'll have to be a sunday if we don't do it the second week of March... My Spring Break is March 5-12 so if we do it then, then my time is open. If we do it later, then I have Sunday's off work, but have to check my schedule once we settle ona date...

Okay guys: Update.... I'll be in Kentucky for a wedding on March 12th so if we could get it moved to the 13th, the sunday, that'd be much better. Let's finalize meeting places and the like so we can do this! I'm pretty stocked to be coming down there and I'm sure that the weather god's will smile upon our Zoom Zoom.

Man! I gotta' say it - i don;t think winter is over enough yet to contemplate this ...yet.

I picture people idling in a parking lot - not cook out/frisbee/kids playing... kna' mean?

Yeah I def. do. I'd say we postpone it for now, and just wait for better weather to come. Plus, once the weather DOES start warming up, there's a cruise-in near me in Mt. Airy, MD (right off of I-70) every other saturday evening out side of an ice cream shop (Jimmie Cone). Maybe we could meet on one of those nights and represent the Protege community... Just food for thought....
