WoW meet Feb. 21-23, 2003
 

Well after all of the distracting talk during the meet, its been decided that we will most likely attend the WoW as a group! As the thread name suggests, we will be attending on Friday the 21st at night. Be sure to post your name, handle, and number when Orange starts a new thread for the WoW. She will be taking in the phone numbers so we can all meet up at the entrance of WoW, and a backup if any of us get lost and cant find the group. As for the time, Friday's show ends at 10:30.

BTW, Saturday the WoW ends at 10;00, so if we can all agree, we could move it to Saturday as we were all weary about the time. Post away!

AHHHH CRAP! Forgot "I Don't Care" in the poll...oh well post whats best for you I guess or when you would like to go...mah bad sry!

I'm in the same boat - all the date & time combo work well.

How long does it take to go through the show? If it's long, maybe we should start at 6pm instead of 7pm?

I think a few hours will be enough, depending what we want to do. Are we going to ask for sponsorship or whatever at the show from the different shops that will be there? Or are we going to go there and just look around?

whats the rush for sponsorships?

is WOW when the dealers show off new cars? or is it like a custom import thing?

Also, if you're cheap like me, make sure you get your tix from Auto Value Auto Parts...you save 2 bux! :D

Basically all of the tuner shops will be in attendance and other race stuff...not dealer stuff tho...all has to do with mods and tuning cars...

Hey Glen, any luck on the new car yet?

Ya, definitely buying it. My insurance is just PITA. It's pretty expensive for me especially that I've only been driving for 3 years. So I'm definitely going for the laser blue p5, 5spd and A/C.

You guys got any suggestions on decent insurance brokers/comapnies??

91dx - I'm with State Farm right now (Centre St. / 20 Ave NW). Their rates are pretty good compared with my previous rate through a broker. I heard TD has pretty good rate too. Just note that some large insurance companies are no longer taking new cases.

why dont we all just meet down there since I will be bringing a few friends down with me...Im planning to park downtown underground since its sooo *$%#$&% cold outside!!! Meet you all at the booth....hmmmm mb I will drive down there lol, Ill have to see, Ill give you a call Em if Im going to go straight down...then we can meet up and drive down if you want....

BTW Ill be taking my digital cam with me so I willtake some pictures and post them!

I'm not too good, just trying to survive under a mountain of work. On the plus side, I hope this will pay off and I can buy expensive toys for the car.
