Which springs?!

So as some of you know I need some new springs cuz one of my rears is sitting lower than the rest, and I need a bit of help. I'm trying to find some Eibachs (Pro-Kit) cuz I've heard excellent things about them. Comfy ride, good performance, perfect drop, and so on.

Can anyone make a comparison to those and the Tein H-Techs? Also, what are the Megan Racing springs like? I assume they're cheap pieces of crap like my current Falkens, so I'll probably stay away from them.

One last thing, how do spring rates affect ride quality? Lower rates = more comfy right?

Eibach has legendary quality, good drop, and decent comfort. The comfort comes from the progressive wind, which hardcores would suggest you stay away from. Linear rate springs are not so comfy but perform more predictably. It's more important that the front springs are linear.

H-Techs ride about the same, drop a little less (gap is the same for front & rear), and have linear rates. I ran them for a few weeks and was highly satisfied. But I wanted the rear slightly stiffer since I don't have an aftermarket rear sway bar so I replaced the rear springs with Racing Beat.

Megan springs are hella stiff, like twice as stiff as stock, as opposed to 20-35% stiffer for most aftermarket brands. Since they're so cheap, I would question their quality also.

Lower spring rates = more comfy in general, but there's more to it than that! Since you have adjustable Illuminas you'll be able to taylor the damping for pretty much any spring out there so no worries.

I think I might go with the H-Techs cuz of the price difference. I ca't justify $200+ on springs only for the Eibachs. Thanks d00d.

With adjustable struts and progressive springs, you could set them to like 2 or 3 for the street to pair well with the reduced springrate and then turn it up for track use when you'll be working out the higher springrates

H-Techs are looking promising if I can snag them for a good price. I'm not even gonna consider the Megan springs, they seem like pure garbage even from just the pics.

There's someone on msprotege seilling his Eibachs . He's asking too much but you might be able to talk him down. I love mine.

I also sell H&R's now but they are $200.00, too.

Yea, they don't drop the rear as much and have different spring rates. I think you saw the sedan ones.
