Rotors

I need to change the front rotors on my P5. A while ago I saw a group buy on Brembos for Proteges. Does anyone know where I can get these Rotors for my P5.

i was the one selling them. I think I'm having to switch suppliers though as my current one has not responded to m emails in the past 3 weeks.

You could probably order some off ebay but they'll be a little more than I was charging.

ebay, i just bought 4 brembo rotors for about 275, plated and shipped they are not bigger than stock but still better than stock and they look pretty good also, I am to cheap to buy a big brake kit.

you just paid $275 shipped for those rotors?? I was selling them for $200 shipped....same product..

maybe in the future you'd save some money by browsing our vendor section first!

with the cadium plating??

Roddimus Prime January-20th-2005 09:06 PM

Just out of curiosity, how long does that shiny zinc plating last? I'm guessing the pads would remove most of it within a few thousand miles, right? I bought some rotors from Rod awhile back, but they're just sitting in my garage until I find some 99-00 es calipers. ...just wondering. :tooth:

the pad contact area rubs off almost immediatly and that WILL rust. The rest of the rotor will not however. As soon as you stop again the rust will be gone. My rotors look awesome during the day and orange in the morning. After you get out of the driveway though they'll be clean again.

If you do get the Brembo rotors, get it with the cad plating. The rusting isn't bad (like the oem rotors) and is pretty light, but the cad plating would diffinately look better.
