new eichachs with clunck

Help. Just got eibachs installed and have a "CLUNKING" in the rear end. But i remember seeing a comment about this somewhere sometime on the site about this but cannot find it in search. So anyone with any help?

Check the sway bar end links where they bolt to the struts. Once they're removed they have a tendency to loosen up. An easy check is to someone rock the car side to side while you look.

Is it from the top somewhat inside? b/c if it is, Its probably the strut perch not seated correctly on the top of the spring.

If its from the outside then it is probably the tie bar sway bar or any of the connecting linkage.

thanks boys

Thanks guys. As i was at the shop and the mech. was stumped, we looked here for replys and found the problem with your help. It turned out to be the sway bar linkage bolt on the passenger rear end. A bolt that they didn't even touch to install the springs. It's the one with the allen key head and the nut. The nut was totally loose but the problem was that after only 9 months of owning the car, the bolt is rusted to ****. Bad enough that the allen key doesn't fit nicely, cause it's rusted to hell, so we were afraid to do anything. So i took it back to mazda and in a couple of days i go back for them to replace the linkage. Damn rights, rusted to hell after less than a year! That's bullshit.....

When i finally get this computer working again properly i'll post picks of the new and improved ride.
