MP3 Strut Tower Kit for Sedan

I'm a new member and I thought I'd share my experiences with you regarding ordering an MP3 strut kit for my 2002. The part no. is 0000-88-C07-KT (w/o cruise) which is taken from the 2002 Mazda Protege Performance Accessories brochure. The reason I mention this is because it differs from the no. listed in the FAQ. When the kit arrived at my dealer, it was not complete. Missing were 3 of the 4 required flanged bar mounting nuts part no. 9994-01-003B and the EGR Boost Sensor bracket which is required since the bracket must be relocated when the right side bar bracket is installed. I had to order these parts separately and pay extra for what I consider to be Mazda's mistake. With a little luck, I'll finally be able to complete the job when the remaining parts arrive. I don't know how typical my experience is but this information might be useful to others who have met with this problem.

I ordered mine from www.mazdastuff.com with no problems. Before it was shipped though, mazdastuff opened the parts bag to ensure all pieces were there. Best $100 I've spent, so far

Yeah, the strut tower bar. I wish I could get the struts for $100. That would be a deal too good to pass up.
