LOL sounds exactly like me in my car, and my dads 8. I was hewading to work one day and some grade a dumb ass starts "being a badass" tryin to show off his accord from the early ninties with the super ricey exhaust, i rolled down the window and go ...V6 wow im impressed..... light hit green and of course the torque in the 8 is non existant so he was almost even with me then i felt the rpms start to get above 4 and i gave him a HUGE grin and i was gone, i got about 1/8 a mile on him in first gear it was HILARIOUS.

I got my car back!!!!
the bad part is i'm riding on a spare tire cuz they ordered the wrong size wheel!!!! I MEAN DID THEY LOOK AT THE SIZE ON THE RIM AND TIRE BEFORE ORDERING!?! (correct me if i'm wrong but i don't recall seeing anything but a 15" or bigger on the 02/03 protege's cuz they somehow ordered a 14" rim am i right? or are there 14" rims for the 02/03??)
i still need to get an alignment(no big deal)
but the worst part is that whoever put my steering assembly back together didnt bother to make sure my steering wheel was straight and even with the wheels so my steering wheel sits sideways when i'm going straight, that and my horn doesn't work anymore and the airbag light comes on all the time!! so i'm going to take it back tomorrow and tell them they better fix this crap cuz i didn't pay $1300 to have them do a crappy job and half fix my car
