camber kit

hmm
you know what? i have no idea... i guess they're called camber arms? to adjust the degrees on them to straighten up the tire whenever the car has been lowered.
|
camber kits Ground control makes a camber plate for adjustments as well as the longer bolts. look at FM's website they have some pics there.
|
Eibach makes a camber adjustment.. It's I believe $24.

Also, when you say "camber arm", I assume you're talking about adjustable control arms. These are a common Honda mod but aren't generally used on a strut car like a Protege.
You need smaller-diameter strut-to-knuckle bolts (Mazdaspeed, ~$2.50 each), eccentric bolts (Ingalls, Eibach) or camber plates (GC, AWR, others). |
mrgentle, are you having probs with camber? I have had my P5 slammed to the ground, and now just a 2" drop, and have not had a problem with camber. It is always corrected when I get an alignment. Are you looking for some for the front or rear?:)

slamprotege5:
What's your camber in the rear? And what's your fender height? (from floor to peak of fender well) |
Arkos: not absolutely sure on the rear camber, cant find my sheet I got, but the alignment guy said it was not out much from factory setting. The rear trailing arm supsension on the P5 is ideal for lowering, and not getting camber. 24 1/4 inches from ground to peak of wheel well in the rear. No need to worry. Only time I have seen someone using camber bolts on a P5 is to move the tire in on wrong offset wheels. Get the right offset, and you will be good to go. I will continue looking for my alignment read-out and post what I am sitting at. Hope this helps:)
