What to do next

Well, I got my RB exhaust on this weekend, and I love it! So, what's next?? I'm not reay to turbo, and I already have an AEM intake and plug wires. What do i do next?

Intake and exhaust cams. One of our techs has them and it seems to make a difference.

Lowering springs and sticky summer tires are also an option, it depends on what you want, power or handling.:blue:

intake, exhaust, springs, rims. that would have been the order i would have gone with, but i got springs first, then intake. now waiting for summer when i get some more money and get my rb catback on. then i'll be done with the car. i'm thinking about saving some money to go with a full fs-ze engine swap. that would be cool. that way, i'll be almost as fast as a turbo without dealing with installing a turbo. i just need to figure out how to pass emissions with the Jspec engine.

Which intake and exhust cams? How much work is involved in installing them? I would bet I need some help with that. Anyways, I'm also going to look at a few asthetic mods.

basically what does intake cams and exhaust cams do? Can u install them onto an protege wit an automatic? or u need to have a manual?

check the FAQ, I can't remember the profile numbers...

yes they will work with any 2.0L FS engine, regardless of the transaxle...They are actually fairly un agressive as far as cam upgrades go. The j-spec cams simply increase the duration, I don't think they even change the amount of lift at all. So, in short, they leave the valves open longer...compared to the stock cams. Its more complicated than that, but that should give an idea...
