Weird noise coming from turn signals

Happy new years to everyone.

I started hearing a little beeping, whining noise every once in a while and it turns out its from the blinkers. I don't know exactly where its from, but when I turn my turn signals on, you hear the regular ticking associated with turn signals but occasionally the beeping too. It started off very little, and it's happening more often now. When I turn the blinker off or it goes back after the turn, the noise turns off.

any idea what it could be??

Re.

Lmao...blinker fluid.

where is the flasher control module.... i used krayzie's manual and found he replacement guide here... http://protege5.ugly.net/09-18.PDF on page 16, but Idk where it is in the car. Would it be behind the steering wheel?

I couldn't find the part online so I guess I would have to go to the dealer. I'll probably try it if the noise gets worse.

I forgot to mention that About 2 months ago I did the mod so the power windows are always on. I doubt that had anything to do with it but idk. Everything seemed to work perfect, up until now, and I didn't have any trouble with it.

thanks

yeah, the module is up under the dash on the drivers side. and its not a simple flasher relay either, so it won't be cheap. the part number is -
