washer fluid warning light on a P5

In the manual for my P5 it tells me that it has a low washer fluid warning light that should come on when I am low on fluid. However, on two occasions now the light has not come on when the resavoir is empty!

Has any one else actually seen that this thing works the way it's supposed to?

TIA.

Mine has no light. I just noticed that the people who say it works live in Canada. It's just a thought but maybe someone should verify this.

Mine works... scared the hell out of my wife. Light came on and naturally she pulls over and shut off the car. (figured it was oil or temp)
And Canadian

it's in the section that describes the instrument panel and it references the light and icon and sends you for more detail to another page.... sorry I'll have to check it tomorrow to provide more detail. It was also mentioned in the little "reference card" that came with the welcome kit for the car.

Washer light

I'm from Canada and my light works fine. It's been on for a week now and I still have fluid in the tank. Go figure. Ciao...
