Trunk Light

2002 Protege5:

Trunk light does not work. The fuse is good because other interior lights work, new bulb. do i have to start checking the wiring? or could it be the trunk open/close sensor?

have a look at the trunk switch. I've seen some cars that use a switch and a push on connector that can fall off - or just corrode.
