Have I ever told you that I hate automatic transmissions?

Are you just throwing out automotive jargon that you heard people say to try and make people think you know what you're talking about? Not trying to be an ***, but is this a serious question or is it one of the "Does my flux capacitor need turbocharged headlight fluid?" questions?

you can't have carbon build-up in an item that see's no carbon byproducts....... you know if you run water over metal for a while you may get rust....because they are related but you won't get chicken gravy. Same in your transission. You can run ATF over the parts all day long and won't get carbon buildup but you may get sludge.

anyhow now i finally met up with like 3 mechanics who are in a club and they offered to help me hook my ride up. i met these dudes yesterday, and today i'm supposed to go on the downriver cruise with a bunch of other tunners; so hopefully i can get the hook up on engine/tranny build-up. btw: my pictures are ready and will be posting in like 2-3 days. still got take a few more pics because i'm doing some body work.

a trans filter can be had from any autoparts store.....the type of filter is not as important as the condition of the filter....just get it done. Use good fluid, keep up on that maintaince first and foremost. No point in trying to squeeze more power than stock if you're not even up to stock conditions.

p.s. be VERY carefull about advice given to you by random people and people who don't own the same car as you.....not everything is universal.

Haha, I know you're new, but you just threw out a couple random words that had nothing to do with your problem, which seems to me like you're trying to needlessly impress people. But whatever.

yea thanks for the tip. btw: my brother told me that the fluid is so bad, that even if i tried changing the fluid/tranny filter that the tranny might just not work at all. he also told me so because its so used to the bad fluid and the grinded up metal. but it might work 50/50 working or not??
