Yet another big selling point. I play drums and don't have a set jam space so we're constantly hauling them around. The less they're in the back of a pickup, the happier I am.

Anyway, it's going in tomorrow to get that wheel noise fixed, hopefully I'll do the final drive Thursday. Can't wait! Thanks for all the feedback guys.

I was just down at Kramer Mazda today visiting my friend that works in the Parts Department. Is the car you're looking at the blue one out front? I looks like it's in pretty good shape.

I wish... The yellow one with pinstripes. Am I going to be able to get those off without leaving marks? I hope to just paint the whole thing later on.

Does your friend get a discount on parts? Does he need a new friend? I'm friendly!

The pinstripes come off but not easily. Use a heat gun carefully and a razor blade and they'll peal off. It's kinda a pain in the butt. It depends on how badly you want the stripes off. You need a steady hand.

The parts guy used to be a good client of mine. I used to be a manager for A&B Sound and ran the Car Audio department. I would hook him up with gear for his ride. He does the same for me now for mine. I can get you hooked up. He's a good guy. I probably won't be able to get you my price, but I can probably get you wholesale which is great for genuine Mazda parts. I just ordered a Mazdaspeed strut tower brace the other day. I saw the yellow P5. It looks good.

No way. Small world. I was with them for 9 years in 3 different provinces. I left them 2 years ago. I saw a sold sign on the yellow Pro5 today. I guess you made your decision. That's great! Welcome to the family! The pinstripes on it don't look too bad. At least they're black. Could have been worse. They could have been pink!

Like I said before, if you want to get them off, just take your time.

Yep, picked it up yesterday and have loved every minute of it. That said, my girlfriend brought up something that I can't believe I never thought of.

See, I love Pac-Man. I really love Pac-Man. He's my hero. I have a Pac-Man tattoo. She mentioned that I could do Pac-Man decals and they'd look great with yellow and the pinstripes might be able to be incorporated. I just about cried realizing how much fun I would have driving a Pac-themed car and am nothing short of giddy looking up solutions. Of course my girlfriend now regrets her discovery and is praying I don't go through with it.

That said, thanks again everybody for all the help and I'll be on here a lot more often now.

Indeed I do have a camera, though I tend to forget because I don't have a memory card for it. Kinda sad considering how long I've sold them :P
I'll gladly post pics when I can, thanks for the interest.

Suggestion if you get the sport-auto p5 with the tiptronic shifter, check if it goes into drive to park smoothly becasue this became a unknown problem that i had to deal with.

I guess I got a good deal on my ES then. Same year, with 57000km for $13000.

Maybe cars are a bit cheaper up in Edmonton. Good luck with the Pro!

J-Protege...Mibz picked up a P5 not a Protege ES. P5's are more expensive.

Why is that? It's the exact same engine, and the ES has pretty much all the same options. All it's missing is the bodykit, but I don't think it should make such a huge difference.

Oh well, I guess it's just supply/demand stuff, more people want P5s.
