but looking atyour pics sunbyrn...u have ur frontwindows tinted pretty dark ..i'd say their like 20% tinted right?

Wouldn it look nice still if u tinted 20% all around but 35% in the front two still? without getting pulled over that is :)

my rack came off as soon as i got home form the dealer!

Larry, if you click on the "pics & info" link in my .sig, you'd get my tint numbers, but it's a legal 35% on the front and rear sides. Looks darker because of the contrast with the light-colored body, I think, and because the smaller windows by the hatch area are darker. But it's street legal.

As for taking off the rack, what you can take off are the crossbars and the little humps that hold the crossbars, but not the black plastic that runs front-to-back on the roof. That stays.
