other 99 ES's?

I am new to this forum, and to tuning in general. Just trying to get an idea of what is possible with a 99 ES, and finding that I have to check each members details, or scan every post (not an easy task).

If you got a 99 ES, please share what you have done, and include link and pics.

Thanks for helping an newbie out!

hey I have a 99 es 1.8 and well you can check what I have done. well the latest was to paint the blinker in the tailights and that was a great success, it looks sooooooo good and it even makes people wonder what kind of car I have because I only have the mazda sign badge left. All the things that I have done are listed at the bottom of my signature, hope it helps in any way and I have any questions feel free to ask.

hi. i have a 1999 1.8L as well. so far i have an AEM intake, the MP3 strut bar and H&R springs.

i'm in the market for new suspension and rims and tires right now, but am trying to save up for tuition as well.

there's a lot to be done to our cars - it all depends on if you want a fast car, a slot car, a show car, etc. (or all of the above) - of course it all costs MONEY.

I am looking to change the outward appearance very little, at least for now, but make some performance enhancements. First thing is speed, as I am fine with the suspension for now.

mygreenmazda: do you have any pics? I was also looking at the indiglo gauges, and wonder how they turned out.

jowettw: what did the AEM intake do for you?

Hey click on my www and see it and tell me what you think, I really dont care much about looks, right know i'm saving money to put money to get a turbo. the indiglo gauges are nice but if I was you I would get the reverse indiglo I think those look better and like almost everyone has said they are difficult to install and I did brake my temp needle and I'm still after 8 months of having them on, just make sure you are very, very, very careful when you put them on if you eventually get them and if you have any more questions feel free.
