Are you buying one and looking for a comparison?

Are you giving us a choice of what we'd buy?

Are you looking for a performance comparison?

What are you asking?

Hmmm tough choice. I think civics ain't so bad, but i really like MY protege so i could think that a newer one would be even better because there isn't 187,000km worth of wear on it. Plus, as much as i like 2 doors, its a real pain having to get in and out so people can get in the back.

I used to own a Civic before I bought the Pro. I don´t think I would go back. I think both cars are very reliable, they both have pretty cool engines, and are pretty comfortable...

But, I prefer the Pro, it handles better, and is faster. It´s also a pretty cool looking car which isn´t as common as the Civics. I prefer to be one of a few, than one of many. I also think that less Pro and P5 owners would rice their cars than Civic owners. We´re a little different, I think.

MSP = warranty

Which is what I wish I still had.

Are you're comparing PERFORMANCE models(which the si is)? 'Cause if you are, gimme the Mazdaspeed protege! You PROBABLY wont see QUITE as many MSP's on the road, and when you do,it'll be smoking a civic! (pretty cool smilies!)

Comparing a Civic (which is the 3rd largest stolen vehicle) vs. the MSP...their is no real comparison.

MSP will blow the doors off a Civic SI (99-00).

I would much rather drive the Mazda......the Civic's are nice but there are so many of them on the roads. I would rather drive the car which there are less on the road then the one that everyone is driving? Bet the Speed Protege would blow the doors off the Civic Si in all catagories (plus is has 4 doors)......
