I don't know about you...but I have an A/C-less Buick and if you don't run the fan when it's raining it will be 10X worse...damn humidity problem here in the sticks.
Anywho...I guess we'll wait for Matty to post the real reason behind his running of the fan

I'm not worried about the Voltometer!! I just need to know WHAT WIRE NEEDS TO BE SPLICED so I can hook up the Air Fuel monitor.
That is all.
Thank you, good day sir!

splice into wire #60 on the back of the ECU. your power can come from any source that draws a current (the cig lighter wires are good), then ground it to a bolt next to the ECU.

If wire #60 is the signal wire for the first O2 sensor, then splice and use that one, cuz the first O2 will give you more accurate readings.12v and ground is simple (your choice).

yes, the wire going into pin #60 is the first o2 sensor. it will give you a good reading. when splicing into the back of the ECU, be sure to splice it as close to the ECU as possible. the wire is shielded about 6" out and won't give you a reading at all. good luck and let me know how things go!

yeah, if you lift up the carpet on the passenger side (which requires the removal of a few plastic panels), you'll see an aluminum plate. this plate needs to be unscrewed because the ECU lives on the back of it. also, the aluminum plate is VERY SHARP. wear gloves! i'm gonna repeat that... WEAR GLOVES! the easiest way to do it is to unplug the ECU from the wire harness IIRC. other than that, it's as easy as do re mi.
