Newbie Here!

After spending a little over a year tuning a Turbo Focus to run in the 13s we are now going to turn over our attention to the newest baby, the Protege5.

video--> http://www.redshark1.com/phantom_short.mpg
webpage-->http://www.redshark1.com/p5.html

and a picture...

First up on the mods list:
cams
exhaust
& Kartboy shifter w/bushings.

I've dyno'd the Phantom and let me tell ya...102.1fwhp and 114tq is not gonna cut it!

Phantom, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to our Club. There are TWO BIG fridge'S in the corner with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have.

make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

How much did you pay for the turbo kit and the installation?
How do you feel after putting the turbo in your protege5?

No no no...turbo is on the Focus (about $3500) we will be going N/A for the Protege unless someone out there comes out with some real fuel management, i.e. no piggyback or 5th injector type setups.

BTW the Focus has run a best of 13.8@104 so far.

I am confused now.
From the pics on your site, I thought you have the turbo on your P5.

Nope...we were considering the Flyin' Miata turbo kit...that's where those pics came from.

Sorry for the confusion.
