true...no its not going to cheaper as it has way more power than your standard batt...cca is not important in audio its all about reaction time.. and just overall strength.. if you just want cca you got the batt.. if you want audio i got the batt. each one has its purpose

Hmm, guess you have a point, but I don't think anyone's going to put Optima batts off as a slouch for audio or power.

For me, I need starting power, because the car's not much good dead. Everything else comes 2nd when you get -40 F winters, haha.

agreed...but i never downed the optima...just prased the stinger for being better in that aspect never said the optima was a "slouch"... i had the red top in my mirage with 4 kicker comp 10" subs ans 2 1000watt amps held up good

thanks for the info on the batteries guys this will help me in my decision making for sure.
