New Car!

I drove the MP5 today and several other cars and decided on buying the MP5. The Dealer gave me the car for 18500. The interior is a two tone leather. Yellow and Black alternating (Car is vivid yellow). Its amazing. There is mazda stitching all over the seats and the interior is showcar condition. I'm picking it up this Wednesday and cant wait to take it for a spin. I'm looking to give the car a little more HP maybe 30 or so. Please give me any ideas and I look forward to becoming a member of this board.

Darith, welcome to the clup and to our happy home away from home.

There is a big fridge in the corner stocked with munchies and cold drinks...help yourself. Kick back on one of the comfy couchs and kick your feet up on a table and make yourself at home....

once again...welcome to the club.

ahhhhh about the ONLY way you are going to add 30 or so HP to our engines...is with one of the TURBO kits out there....our engines are about tweeked out from the factory. if you are going to stay naturally aspirated.....there is exhaust, intake, cams (both intake and exhaust), you could always go with the high compression pistons as well.....but with all of those....I doubt you will get close to your 30 hp, maybe 2/3's of it...but that is about it.

185?

Well I paid 185 and it came with a whole aftermarket interior that is really really nice. So I am happy. Came with everything, CD, roof, all the guards the custom leather interior that the dealer had installed was worth 2500.

What he paid isn't too much I think.
Mine doesn't have leather, yet it cost me $18323 (Tax, financing interested, fee included).

If it makes you feel any better, the after market leather interior is $2600 CAD from what my dealer told me. I didn't want them.. I (personally) only like leather seats when there is a seat warmer for winter use. Plus, when you're wearing short shorts in the summer, they're not very nice on your legs...

Thanks! There is some interesting stuff to read on this site, and it's nice being around so many people that own the same car as me.

I picked it up lastnight... it only had 6 kms on it! It's got more than that now... I can't wait until I'm finished work, so I can go for another drive..
