Talking New addition

I'm stoked and just have to share! Today I won a bid on eBay for a '99 ES for my girlfriend. 82,000 miles for $4,000. Best of all it's a local dealer, we went up over the weekend and checked it out. Nice condition. I am very glad I am able to help her get a newer car that will be reliable and fun to drive. She really likes mine. Of course she is already talking trash, how hers will be better than mine when I am done fixing it up (hmmm, do you think she expects me to work on hers before mine?!). And I really think she has watched too many episodes of "Pimp My Ride" as she is talking about putting flames on the side! I still love her though.

Yeah, she'll never stop whining if you don't.

Careful what you say kargoboy! I'm going to get her signed up on the board, and you never know what she might read. I have to do something to get her off her daily puzzle fix.

As for her car, it will be her daily driver so I won't be doing a lot to it. Right now I am planning on the variable intermittent wiper stalk, new speakers (and maybe a factory in-dash 6 CD changer if the wiring harness accepts it), front strut brace, short shifter w/bushings, and a rear spoiler. After that it will depend upon how much she likes what I do to mine.

Oh, and I may be a scumbag seaman, but I am a gentleman!! Well, mostly!
