btw, i tried to find a pic of how we mounted a turbo timer in the focus, but couldn't seem to find one (odd for me, because i take photos of everything!). anyway, we just placed it on the top of the steering column between the steering wheel and the instrument cluster. seemed to work just fine there. i'm sure that the protege would be similar...?
