I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of how they mounted a turbo timer and what it looks like. Also does anyone have any pictures of a gauge pillar? Thanks.

IMO I believe you don't really need a turbo timer, you only need to wait if you are in boost heavy right before you stop....and if you are count to 30 and get out of the car. Your money could be better spent on an intake or exhaust.

Roddimus Prime May-26th-2004 09:56 AM

true, turbo timers are more for people concerned with looks and women who don't rmember to wait before shutting it off.

Yeah my brother-in-law was looking at a MSP and I asked him if he knew how to drive a turbo and he said it's no different froma ny other car, just more power. LMAO:D I said no there more than that, most people don't realize they have wait and let it cool down before they turn their car off. Wait that is why he goes through cars like most poeple go through shoes "use and abuse".

that and more frequent maintaince.

Rio Grande May-26th-2004 10:18 AM

I've heard that after a while you should get your boost checked or something like that. My brother was looking at a Eclipse GS-T

II-Savy May-26th-2004 10:20 AM

yea check it to be sure it's as high as it can be...:D

You guys are pretty harsh, all he asked for was photos, not comments and opinions

II-Savy May-26th-2004 11:58 AM

I'm just giving my opinion. Helping him save some money.

Actually you can use this:

to mount your Turbo Timer

Follow some woman driving. You will find, signal on for miles and miles, driving with there hazzards on, putting make up on, driving there kids to school going like a bat out of hell down my GD road at 7:50 am. You want video?

Well here in Maryland it don't matter guy or girl. Most of them drive like idiots. I'd rather drive with my sister or fiance before I would drive with my brother and a few of my freinds. I also drive slower than most old people and I'm doing 5 over the speed limit when they go flying by me. I like to get to one place in one piece.
