Hey all. I'm writing from Barcelona (Spain) and, first of all, it's a very good and interesting forum!

Recently, I've bought a 323F 2.0 Sportive. I think it's very similar to your Protege5. And I'm very interested in to mount the variable intermittent wipers.

I've read the posts publicated in the How-to's section. Well, my question is if can I plug the wiper stalk from MPV (GE6V-66-128) to my 323F or there are any problem or incompatibility.

Another question is how much costs me if I buy this piece in Mazdastuff.com (price+shipping+...)

Do you think that this modification can modify the warranty??

There aren't a lot of MPV or Mazda's in Spain. So, I think it's very difficult to find this piece in a salvage/wrecker yard.

Maybe I will talk with my dealership. I think the part number is the same, isn't it?

I also own a 323F (2.0 Diesel 16 valves). Our 323(F) are exactly the same as Protege/Protege5 models in US. I've bought mine wiper stalk at mazdastuff.com. Fortunately, I have a friend living in New York who bought it for me and he has arrived back home for holidays with my stalk
I still have not installed it: I'm trying to figure out how to pull out the old stalk with the least damage


The part number you see in the forums is right. I talked to my local mazda dealer and they had the part in stock, but it was very expensive, about 150 euros. The were somewhat reluctant to sell me the part because it was not designed for my car, so I finally I bought it overseas.
