How do you take off the 3 inch extension in the shifter?
info and help will be greatly appreciated......

gotta use heat to get it off, it's some kind of rubber holding it in. Thing you have to remember is that if you take the extension off there are no threads underneath

The shift lever is threaded M10 x 1.25 to accept the shift ****. As ibanez 78 said, if you remove the extension, you will lose the thread.
