I'm sure that someone has tried to install a US roofrack on a Canadian Protege 5. If you have can you give me some pointers. Will I need to removed the roofliner? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

 

I dunno if this will help you much, but I remember coming accross it once before. It's a pretty good writeup for removing the roof rack completely, so it might help in figuring out what might be different between the two, and you can definately reverse the procedure to install new ones too.
